Podertainment magazine is here.
My name is Gary Leland, and I discovered the world of podcasting back in 2004, and have truly loved it. I am not one hundred percent sure, but I believe I was probably one of the first hundred podcasters on the planet. Not long ago while at a Social Media event in Las Vegas someone addressed me as a podcasting pioneer. While it was meant as a compliment, it made me laugh deep down inside. I don’t think I qualify as a pioneer at anything.
Podcasting has been very good to me. Due to podcasting my business is stronger, my friends have increased, and my life in general is better. I know those statements may sound crazy, but they are 100% true. Podcasting has defiantly changed my life for the better.
As you may know I publish a magazine for the sport of Fastpitch Softball. I have been publishing The Fastpitch Softball Magazine for eighteen months now. The feedback has been fantastic.
Since there wasn’t a magazine for podcasting at the time, I decided to start a podcast magazine. I have down all the basics of publishing an online magazine so why not give it a try.
The name of my podcast magazine is Podertainment. In case you are wondering, you take the words pod, and entertainment. Then you put them together to form the word Podertainment.
The first thing I did was contact some friends from the podcasting world. The question was simple, would you help me create a new magazine for podcasting, by being a writer? Yes, yes, and yes was the reply I heard over, and over.
Podertainment will have 12 issues a year, and new issues will come out around the middle of every month.
A subscription to Podertainment only cost $12.99 a year. That is less than one cup of coffee per month. This magazine contains a ton of great information for such a small amount of money.
Podertainment is available in the iTunes Store at the moment, available for iPads, iPhones, and iPods. I will add it to The Android store in the very near future.

Most of our Articles are about 500 to 700 words long. The most successful articles have a light and breezy tone, but make their points quickly.
Include a short bio — between 35 to 45 words — at the bottom of the post. Your name, your organization and a recent accomplishment or two are great things to include. We’re happy to link to your website, Amazon book page or Facebook or Twitter account if you like. Just be sure to include all the necessary URLs when you turn in your post.
Step 4: E-mail your article to Podertainment:
Send it to GaryLeland@gmail.com
